Surprise! I tricked you! Day 24 and day 25 go together. They're matching! I had to actually think ahead and use my brain! It was such a blast trying to make two images that work perfectly well standalone, but when they come together it looks even better. There was a lot of covering one eye as I looked at what I'd had, trying to figure out if it looked good with half the drawing obscured. And in the end, I think I'm pretty proud of the result!
The vines were so fun to do. They were also surprisingly simple, mostly due to the digital tricks I have up my sleeve. They create such a nice sense of flow, both within each artwork and when you bring the two images together. I'm also very proud of that ponytail. It was the most surprising part of the drawing.
