Most people fall into one of two camps: guns are all they draw, or they crumple at the thought of it. I am the second.

This pose was referenced from Lycoris Recoil, a show created by people staunchly in the first camp, but ironically enough the hands were much more of an enemy than the barrel of the gun. I try to just put lines down and adapt with what I've got, so the art goes fast, but these hands had me redrawing and erasing and mirroring the canvas much more than I'd care to admit. I don't even know if they came out good because I've spent too much time staring at them to have an opinion anymore.

I wanted to experiment a bit with blurring to convey depth because it's not something you see a lot in art, and it's not something I've experimented with that much either. I think the final result is okay, but I definitely want to play around with the concept more before I call myself good at the technique.
