This is an image you'll want to zoom in on.

Although it's one of my simplest concepts in terms of composition, day 18 took me the longest out of the majority of them. Aside from when I caved in the last 15 minutes while adding shadows to the scarf, there are only 3 colors here: black, white, and a very saturated blue. Everything in between is pure dithering. I'm quite proud of it.

I rarely experiment with brushes. I sketch, line, and color all with the same rectangular brush - anything else is a rarity. This was the first time I stepped out and tried a new one in a very long time: a thick, solid square brush with zero frills. Doing something different for once was envigorating and refreshing, and I immediately used it for the next day's piece as well. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
