This is actually a redraw of a very old piece from June 2017! The design is even older. She was one of my very first original characters, so it's very nostalgic to return to her after 10+ years of having her around. I remember being so proud of the original drawing from 2017, and of the fact that I had made it with my very own hands. I am so glad I kept chasing that high.

I missed drawing halftones for most of this month. I was too busy trying other techniques that I forgot about my beloved, but for this day coming back to them felt like a victory lap. This piece isn't the most ambitious or clever; my pride for it is much more symbolic of how far I've come. There's nothing new about it, just me applying every technique I've learned over the past 27 days, or 7 years.
