The first painterly one in a few days! Did you miss those soft textures? This is also more experimenting with a brush I almost never use for the lineart. It doesn't make a reappearance. Sometimes you try things and they work. Sometimes they don't.

I originally conceptualized this character design a few years back because I really like drawing objects that drape and flow and don't have a lot of weight to them. If I can make it flow in the wind then it's a success - I have a bad habit of sticking really long ribbons in places they don't belong when it comes to character design. Why does he tie ribbons around his wrists? Because it's fun to draw, and yes, I will draw them waving wildly every single time I put pen to paper.

A lot of my friends hate drawing feet. I don't. Results like the ones in this image are why.
