I love halftones. I'm very annoying about putting them in my art, even when the tone of the piece really doesn't call for it. I don't care. I'll shove that circle into the square hole any day of the week because damn it, it's a really fun circle to work with.

I love drawing blood and bloodstains, especially when they're in a cartoonish or stylized artwork. Something about drawing splatters or stains or any liquid byproduct has such a natural feel when I work with it. The hand was definitely my favorite part about this. Maybe it helps that it actually turned out okay with only a couple of revisions in the sketch phase - good hands that come easy to me can change my thoughts about the drawing process almost instantly.
